Overview:
The role of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Constant Contact is to align human resources priorities with the Product Delivery business strategy by driving comprehensive and fully integrated, sustainable human resources programs. Reporting to the Director HR – Business Partners, the HRBP will help guide a high performing culture that supports Constant Contact’s mission, vision and core values. This is a true HRBP role charged with driving organizational effectiveness, business strategies and ensuring the” voice of employee” is considered in all business and HR programs and decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable gaining the credibility of front-line contributors as well as the leadership teams and works well within a high performing, fast-paced teams. The delicate balance of business acumen, relationship building, and courageous leadership will be a key for success in this role.
The HRBP acts as an advisor in matters relating to Product Delivery management strategy, organizational design, staffing, performance management, employee relations and professional development. In addition, the HRBP will drive the creation and implementation of various HR programs and initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Develop a thorough understanding of the business organization’s needs and future direction in order to communicate HR implications to the business organization’s management team.
Partner with Executive Team leader and managers to identify where HR can drive business success, including identifying talent gaps and development needs of the business unit, its managers, key individuals, and people in key positions.
Assess trend in employee behaviors and morale and proactively adjust employee relations strategies and policies to balance the business and employee needs.
Act as first line resource to managers and employees on employee relations issues and partner with them to implement solutions in a timely manner and document the outcome.
Manage and communicate organizational changes and drive effective communications across the assigned business units.
Ensure HR programs and initiatives are aligned with culture.
Identify and communicate critical HR metrics.
Attend and contribute to meetings conducted by the management team of the HRBP’s assigned business organization.
Successfully communicate both verbally and in writing, including the ability to make impactful presentations and facilitate meetings as needed.
Provide guidance and direction to management team and employees on human resource related topics.
Communicate and ensure compliance and consistency with Company and HR related policies.
Interface with all levels of the organization and continually coordinate with other members of the HR Department.
Serve as a coach to managers and employees.

Requirements:
BS degree required; PHR/SPHR certification desired.
5-7+ years HR Manager and/or Strategic Business Partner experience.
Ability to build trusted relationships with all levels of an organization; strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Experience supporting and driving change in Product Management and Engineering teams in a high-growth, high-tech environment.
Effectively envision, develop, and implement innovative strategies to address competitive and complex business issues.
Expertise in leveraging social media internally and externally.
Ability to influence peers, other leaders and senior management in making business decisions and solving problems.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR and general business practices.
Excellent client management and business acumen skills.
Excellent leadership, problem solving, project management, communication, listening and presentation skills.
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Self directed and motivated.
