Specifically at this time, we’re looking for a HR Business Partner.

Overview

So what does that position entail? Glad you asked.

The HR Business Partner will act as a business partner and resource to all levels of management on HR strategies that assist the organization in achieving its goals both strategic and tactical. They will manage, execute, and provide direction to various levels of managers regarding key HR deliverables and programs. They will serve as the first point of contact to managers and employees for Employee relations issues and manage the issue through to resolution every step of the way. They will coach, consult, and act as an advocate to managers and employees. They will develop value added HR strategies that align with business and divisional goals to drive business results. They will identify and implement continuous process improvements, resolving operational gaps to ensure maximum efficiency of workflow between employee relations, recruiting, and other operating units within Human Resources. They will participate in corporate wide initiatives. They will recognize systemic causes of key issues and take appropriate actions. They will partner with other departmental areas of Human resources to provide on-going support and services to employees.

The HR Business Partner will plan and implement relevant HR initiatives that support employee engagement. They will act as a resource to managers regarding salary administration process and effective management of performance management objectives. They will assist with the evaluation of positions and departmental structure and design as identified by various business lines. They will help identify training needs and coordinate training with corporate training department. They will facilitate and participate in training programs for various business units as needed. They will act as a consultant and resource to the recruiting team on an as needed basis regarding strategies that support the affirmative action plan. They will develop and implement retention strategies for high volume areas. They will be responsible for using and creating ad hoc reporting to identify key metrics for strategic reporting purposes that drive results.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing employee relations issues.

We want someone with strong analytic reporting skills.

We need someone with excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.

This candidate should have previous HR Generalist experience.

We want someone with current knowledge of employment laws and practices.

We need someone with strong organization and problem solving ability.

This candidate needs to have experience with MS Office and HRIS systems.

BA/BS preferred in Business, HR , or related disciplines

PHR or SPHR preferred

5-7 years professional HR experience in a high volume environment
