Responsibilities:

As an HR Consultant, you will have a responsibility to do passive recruitment for key roles in the organization in addition to centralized physician/medical recruitment for the organization. An HR Consultant also works to build a supportive, positive work environment by offering professional human resource services and consultation to employees and management at Hazelden Plymouth resulting in an engaged and effective workforce. Specific responsibilities include HR Policy and Procedure interpretation, on boarding and orientation, employee relations, and employee and management training. This position collects and analyzes HR data, handles basic and complex employee relations issues making the appropriate legal and business decisions, and facilitates coaching and counseling to supervisors or employees as needed. This position will work one day from Center City, MN and four days from Plymouth, MN.

Qualifications:

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a minimum of three years recruitment experience and two years of HR generalist experience. A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field is required or equivalent years of experience; SPHR/PHR certification desired. Previous experience working with youth or working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
