As an entry level Human Resources Coordinator, the individual is expected to have a variety of knowledge, including staffing, training, policies, event coordination and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to managers and employees. Individual will coordinate, plan and participate in all employee events for corporate staff and have a passion for creating a motivating work environment. Successful HRC will act as employee champion and work with the Director of Human Resources and support his/her effort as a change agent. The HRC assesses and anticipates HR-related needs in the corporate office by engaging with employees on a daily basis. The HRC communicates needs proactively with our Director of Human Resources, HR department and business management, and works with the Director of Human Resources to develop integrated solutions. The HRC formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRC is responsible for supporting the human resources team in administrative efforts. Strong customer service aptitude and considerable skills in organization, internal and external communication and knowledge of personnel policy and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Required Skills

Essential Functions :
Build camaraderie in the corporate office by engaging and networking with corporate staff in a friendly and encouraging way.

One to two times per month, recommend, create, coordinate, plan, and execute employee relations events in the corporate office including holiday parties, and other events.

Update employee relations calendar with planned and tentative events throughout the year and communicate to employees as appropriate.

Meet with employee relations committee bi-weekly to generate new ideas for events and activities for the corporate office to assist with improvement of corporate morale.

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and decorating the Human Resources office including, holiday decorations, updating bulletin board with events and pictures, maintaining tidiness of HR office; ensuring all waste in common area is disposed of (i.e. shredder) and interview/board rooms and lobby area are immaculate.

Ability to update and maintain HR office bulletin boards and other employee bulletin boards or poster requirements as appropriate.

Interviews candidates for Corporate Receptionist as necessary.

Responsible for overseeing training for the Corporate Receptionist.

Responsible for overseeing performance and any related counseling of Corporate Receptionist up to and including recommendation for termination of employment.

Responsible for overseeing annual review process for Corporate Receptionist.

The ability to provide training to Corporate Receptionist to meet Company standards of operations.

Answer HR office phone line. Respond to applicant and employee phone inquiries in a professional and timely manner coordinating with applicable HR team member when necessary to provide appropriate follow-up.

Order, research and coordinate accounts for recruiting or employee gift/recognition packages, and all other employee relations, including sympathy and congratulations gifts such as flowers.

Arrange travel and lodging for out of area interviewing applicants as requested by Recruitment team.

Maintain HR SharePoint webpage and update accordingly with up to date and accurate information.

Ability to update and scan signed/approved job descriptions into the appropriate electronic location and route to appropriate HR staff for internal updates.

Order office supplies for the Human Resources office and maintain employee lounge near the HR office to ensure it is fully stocked with supplies at all times.

Send Fed Ex packages as needed for Human Resources team.

Take notes at HR meetings, including bi-weekly huddle meeting and distribute to the team.

Assistance in the New Hires Orientation program as needed with new hire paperwork, etc.

Ability to perform corporate front desk Corporate Receptionist duties. Provide lunch coverage and back up coverage at the guest receptionist desk.

Track annual expenses throughout the year for HR budget purposes.

Prepare reports from company applicant tracking system (ATS) or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) as requested.

Provide detailed information on company operations, structure, history, benefits and job responsibilities to inquiries.

Conduct reference checks and background checks to confirm education and licensing, as needed for recruitment team.

Maintain confidential information and properly document information for recruiting and payroll purposes.

Maintain and promote a high level of integrity within Human Resources and the company.

The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers.

Ability to possess a high level of professionalism and build relationships throughout the Corporate office & with the Clinical Operations leadership staff..

Ability to build and maintain confidence and credibility with all applicants and ATI employees.

Responsible to treat all employees and visitors to the Human Resources office in a friendly and courteous manner, as the employees are our guests.

Responsible to process and maintain the integrity of confidential information without compromising the nature of the material or information.

Responsible to answer all telephone calls to the Corporate-Human Resources Office in a strong customer service manner.

Non-Essential Functions :
Assist with implementation of HR systems as requested.

Responsible for offering information, verifying present/past employment & following up with employee inquiries.

The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management and staff.

The ability to assist with all employee relations events for clinics and corporate within region.

The ability to assist in the planning and execution of company employee relations events, i.e. the annual holiday celebration.

Act as backup to New Hire Orientation Process as needed in any region.

Assist with acquisitions as necessary, including new employee packet compilation.

Assist the payroll team with Audits as needed

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience

Experience:
At least 2 years of human experience or event planning experience (field)

OR

At least 5 years of human resources experience (field)
