The role of HR Coordinator will serve as HR representative for the Corn Milling Dayton, Ohio facility to carry out day-to-day HR responsibilities. This role will work with Facility Managers, and other location personnel to ensure primary HR needs are met for the location. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will work with Facility and Business Unit (BU) HR Client Managers in providing support required for implementation of the HR business plan and strategy.
30% Employee Data Management and Reporting: Personnel file maintenance, I-9 documentation, processing data changes in HRIS system, and employee information reporting.
30% Salary, Benefits, and Policy Administration: Provide assistance with salary review and changes, location resource for explanation of benefits (including open enrollment) and employment policies, serve as primary contact for FMLA, as well as management of Tuition Reimbursement process
15% Hiring and On-boarding Process: Coordinate local recruiting process, new hire orientation, intern/co-op program, AAP
15% Perform related duties as required: to include, but not limited to, PMP Tracking, Processing reimbursements and invoices, assisting with Employee Relations, participating in location/BU related activities
10% Payroll Administration: Weekly Kronos approvals and transmission, reporting, auditing, training and system documentation
High School diploma/GED equivalent
2+ years HR specific related experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to demonstrate effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication methods to achieve desired results.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Demonstrated ability to function both independently and as part of a team environment
Ability to interact with diverse workforce
