Position Details

Provides day-to-day human resources support to a variety of HR functions such as recruiting, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, employee communications, leave administration, HR Operations and special projects as needed. ¿

Partners with the People Services team to provide support as needed ¿
Supports and maintains HR Operational systems (employee files, Peoplesoft, myHR, sharepoint, Business Intelligence, Authoria, etc) ¿
Supports Compliance (such as I-9s, required compliance training, required postings, etc) ¿
Provides data management analysis as requested ¿
Supports HR managers and other team members as needed ¿
Supports special projects as requested
Preferred Qualifications: ¿
2-5 years of experience human resources, data management, administration, compliance or related field; at least 1 year supporting manager level professionals ¿
Ability to perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities on a regular basis required ¿
Ability to adapt to change at a moment¿s notice required ¿
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other HRIS experience preferred ¿
Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality with the ability to be discreet when handling various types of confidential information
Typical Training / Experience - HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience; Specialized skill training/certification may be required; 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility required

Dept/Org Scope & Impact - Fully functioning support role having greater responsibility to perform all (or most) most of the standard work within the function; moderate impact to the department

Problem Complexity - Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex; Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor/manager

Autonomy - Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, techniques; Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor/manager

Knowledge - Demonstrates basic knowledge of a technical or specialty area; Readily learns and applies new information/concept in area of practice
