Provide high quality HR support to a team of HR Business Partners in the Jersey City, NJ location of Forest Research Institute. Strong communication, and follow up skills are required to interact and provide support to all levels of employees, including senior management, in order to answer questions, give guidance, and process requests.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administer all aspects of HR transactions in SAP HCM (i.e. new hires, status changes, salary adjustments, pay corrections, transfers, terminations, location moves and manager changes, etc.)
Administer all aspects of contingent workforce requests in TCPS.
Support Adverse Event training requirement for contingent workforce.
Respond to employee inquiries on benefits, and other HR related matters. Resolve payroll issues. Process Employment Verification Requests from current/former employees as received via fax or otherwise.
Manage Procure to Pay Invoice System for all HR related invoices and process all applicant reimbursements.
Assist with employee relation duties such as new hire and exit interview checklist process, and work with external counsel on managing employee visa processing for immigration (LCA, H1, greencards, etc.) paperwork required for filing.
Process audit requests. Provide query support/management of data according to RIM guidelines.
Support HR Business Partners with analytical projects (performance and compensation analysis, calibration, etc). Provide monthly and adhoc SAP reports to support to HR Business Partner team and client groups.
Support New Hire Orientation Training process (new employee link, schedule bi-monthly classes, etc.) and assist with updating the Forest Learning Center (FLC) for all NJ HR trainings.
Create/Maintain personnel files, I-9 binder, benefit files, immigration files and monitor physical inventory of new hire, candidate, and termination kits. General administrative functions include filing, copies, faxes, etc.
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Special projects as required.
Coordinating travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
Process departmental invoices
Establish and maintain filing systems, databases, spreadsheets, documents and other administrative duties as required.
Act as back-up to the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
BS/BA degree; business degree preferred.
Experience and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
2+ years administrative / project management experience.
Strong organizational & communications skills with proficiency in MS Office are required.

Strong team player
IT skills, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint at intermediate level.
HRIS system experience, SAP proficiency preferred.
Individual should be detail oriented and proactive to be able to follow-through on projects and workflow requests.
