The HR Coordinator will support the GE Corporate - Functional HR team for Corporate Finance and will be based in GE's Corporate Headquarters in Fairfield, CT. This position will provide HR administrative support in areas of personnel records, payroll, HRIS, and onboarding

Essential Responsibilities
Manage the onboarding/change/additions processes for assigned groups to include:
  • Data entry into Oracle and WEBI reporting
  • Manage the I-9 process for new hires, offer letters, new hire packages, relocation, etc.
  • Manage personnel files and information requests
  • Utilizing the company‚Äôs staffing system (Hiresystems), manage input into and monitoring of the system
  • Respond to detailed pay, benefits and policy questions
  • HR Compliance reporting and tracking
  • Initiate Immigration and Global Mobility transactions

  • Other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Provide backup support across HR team

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field (HR specialization is preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a customer service environment

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Working knowledge of HRIS database systems and payroll systems (Oracle and Kronos preferred)
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding Employment practices
  • Demonstrated experience in pro-actively looking at processes and independently analyzing current status and creating new processes
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated eligibility to work in the US
  • Experience with GE systems and processes, preferred
  • Human Resources degree preferred
  • Excel experience including pivot tables and vlookup
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in an HR function
