Under the direction of the Director, of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the day to day operations of the Human Resources Dept. Position includes responsibility for employee records maintenance, communications of HR programs, and coordinating logistics for HR related programs and events. Assists in functional areas including, but not limited to, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, training and development, HRIS, and implementation of HR policies and procedures. All work to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with organizational standards.

Employee Records: Processes all changes or corrections to the Employee Profile in ADP. Maintains the employee files to ensure accuracy and timely information for proper record maintenance. Keep employee records up to date and prepare old files for proper storage and retention. Processes HR-related forms.

Reporting/Administration: Completes paperwork for purchase requisitions and check request, processes payment of bills, and follows-up to ensure bill payment. Maintain department supplies and complete department orders. Creates and generates scheduled or requested HR reports. Employee Events: Assists in the logistics of planning and executing employee events (OD Programs/Trainings, Employee Anniversary Reception, Benefits Fair, Job Fair, All Agency Meetings, Staff Development Days, Staff Retreats).

HR Systems Upkeep and Maintenance: Updates changes and information on the ADP HR/Benefits home page. Creates training classes in Halogen e-Learning system and records attendance. Creates and updates job descriptions in the applicant tracking system (HRM). Recruiting: Assist with the scheduling of interviews and phone screens during peak hiring events.

Employee Relations: Responds to employee concerns and questions by referring the employee to the appropriate resource including the employee manual for policies. In all interactions, is cognizant of maintaining the highest ethics and trust to ensure credibility of the position and Human Resources. Display outstanding organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and follow through. Provide strong administrative support to the team as needed Ability to discreetly handle highly sensitive and confidential matters Independently work on multiple tasks effectively in support of department Other Functions: The organization may assign other functions to the job at its discretion.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years experience in Business or Human Resources is preferred. Previous experience working with an HRIS system (ADP) highly desired.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, efficiently follow written and verbal instructions, provide information, and maintain effective relationships with staff, interns, contractors and outside contacts.
