Position Summary:
This position provides Humans Resource administrative and technical support for the Mars Global Services business unit located at the Mt. Olive, NJ (MTO) site 24 hours per week (Monday to Thursday). This includes processing and ensuring the accuracy of associate personnel information and interfacing with all levels of associates, external agencies and candidates. Also, the administrator provides general assistance relating to any P&O (HR) function. The ideal candidate will have Human Resource knowledge, customer service focus, prior experience in an administrative role (HR strongly preferred), and be committed to continuous improvement within the P&O (HR) function


Position Responsibilities:
As the People & Organization (P&O) first point of contact, handle or direct general inquiries and communications relating to all P&O functions including:

Associate & Organization information

Associate Relations programs and Performance Management systems and tools

Provide general technical assistance and reports with HR information systems

Deliver Onboarding/Induction content to newly hired/promoted associates

Process and maintain associate personnel information and transactions in SAP HR

Maintain files to provide an accurate representation of each associate and the organization at all times.

Provide general administrative support to the P&O team to maximize department efficiency, including cooperative work with sister hub sites.

Work in the e-buy and catalyst systems.

Support the recruitment process in a compliant and timely manner including management of TALEO (ATS System)

Act as key user for Taleo Mt. Olive, New Jersey site.

Maximize efficiency in Taleo/trouble-shoot problems

Initiate and Manage On boarding process in Taleo

Schedule interviews with candidates and managers and process the candidate pool

Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process of P&O programs, processes and systems

Plan, organize, deliver projects as assigned for the P&O team

Coordinate site activities

Perform other related duties and assignments as required


Position Qualifications:
Associates degree or Bachelors degree in HR Management or equivalent experience


computer proficiency with MS Office suite required. Heavy Excel, Power Point and Outlook responsibilities.

HR information systems experience strongly preferred (SAP HR)

Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately and exercise good judgement in working with various levels of associates/management

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Ability to prioritize work, to work under stressful situations and to quickly adapt to changing situations

Excellent organizational skills

Strong customer service skills

Detailed Oriented

Strong drive for results

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and role model effective team behavior

Up to 10% travel required. Primarily trips between the MTO ITC sites.
