Job Summary: Assist the human resources department with event coordination, administrative functions, and other assigned projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate human resource-sponsored events and programs to enhance and shape company culture, such as Stampin Days, Employee Appreciation Breakfast, Employee Appreciation BBQ, and other various celebrations.
Perform general clerical and administrative support for the human resources team, including scheduling, organizing, and taking and disseminating notes of meetings.
Maintain and organize employee files, filing documents into employee files, and ensuring files are up-to-date and accurate in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Complete verifications of employment, both verbal and written, providing complete and accurate data.
Assist the hiring process by coordinating job postings, uploading paper and e-mailed applications to applicant tracking system, providing status updates to candidates, and sending offer packets.
Administer the Employee Recognition Shopping Cart program.
Produce cards and other paper crafts for department initiatives, including employee recognition and marketing to applicants.
Provide coverage and support, as assigned, during department peak times.
Provide general human resources support by assisting employees in completing human resource forms, answering questions about company policies, providing basic information about company benefits, and disseminating information as needed.
Create an environment of high trust and credibility for the human resources team by providing outstanding service and a bias for action.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum two years of completed college coursework in human resources or business.
Minimum two years of human resources-related job experience.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use work time productively and efficiently, showing attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Ability to develop solid working relationships and rapport, demonstrating respect for individuals at all levels.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
