We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager, our ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the all administrative and support tasks, plus special projects are completed with accuracy, efficiency, professionalism and a can-do approach.

We’re looking for someone to:
  • Actively anticipate the needs of the HR department and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiencies
  • Troubleshoot personnel changes, directing sensitive issues to the appropriate HRG and provide follow-up with employees
  • Coordinate all HR correspondence and emails i.e, offer letters, interview responses, etc.
  • Coordination of department meetings, including conference room/dial-in number reservations
  • Set-up and conduct New Hire Orientation for new employees
  • Daily review and distribution of department mail, including faxes
  • Maintain the HR inbox and answer basic queries and route emails to appropriate HR generalist
  • Liaison between IT and HR from new hire account setup and IT account terms
  • Steward of HR department Purchase card; Maintain and process HR related invoices and check requests
  • Submit department timesheets in a timely manner and track vacation and leave forms
  • Assist with resume review and schedule and coordinate interviews for open positions
  • Organize and maintain the HR file room in Manhattan
  • Continually update org charts and phone lists
  • Complete Employment verification processing
  • Place orders for supplies needed by the Benefits and HRIS Department
  • Cover front desk during receptionist lunch hour and break
  • Other duties as needed

We’re looking for someone with:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an office setting required; Human Resources preferred
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple deadlines and tasks
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated
  • Must excel at working both individually and collaboratively among a fast-paced team
  • Must possess exceptional computer skills including Oracle and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be able to work with sensitive and confidential information with the highest levels of integrity
  • Above all, must possess the aptitude, willingness and enthusiasm to accomplish any tasks
