Supports Human Resource Department, Security, Organizational Development, and Soaring Service on administrative projects and procedures . Works under the direction of the Human Resource Management Team. Provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resource team. May have designated project assignments and job responsibilities. Cooperates with all departments regarding special needs not normally handled by specific personnel.


Interfaces with all department managers, vendors, guests, community representatives and associates. Reports to Director of Human Resources.


High school diploma is required.


Should have a minimum of five years experience in Human Resources or as an Executive Assistant. Must be knowledgeable of Federal, State and Gambling Commission laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Work requires an extensive knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language. Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years related experience. Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations. Knowledge of Human Resource systems and use of computer are required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and able to obtain a Washington State Class III Gaming License. Must maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. An analytical ability is required in order to gather, summarize and prepare data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.
  • Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the department’s business files. Retrieves information from files when needed.
  • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls. Sorts and distributes mail. Drafts written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies. Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
