The HR Generalist supports the Employment Director to deliver HR consulting on employment issues impacting employee relations, retention and engagement. The position partners with the Employment Director to provide managers and employees guidance and coaching on employment policies/procedures, promotion, headcount, employment law, performance management, and disciplinary actions. This role provides recommendations on course of action related to various HR issues. This position may assist in the delivery of Employment programs/training, participate in process improvement initiatives, projects, and act as a back-up for recruitment.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of HR generalist experience with a focus on employee relations and recruiting is required. An emphasis on review and analysis of employment information to determine compliance with employee handbook, laws and regulations. Strategic-thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deliver key messages and information. Planning, problem solving and documentation skills are key in this position. Must be a pro-active self-starter with a core focus on client service orientation.
