Primary job responsibilities will include responding to employee concerns and complaints for our company operated convenience store (Mascot) employees. This includes independent research, interpretation of policy and recommendations on hiring, counseling, training and termination. The HR Generalist will also need to have the ability to present to management the various legal consequences of different courses of action and make recommendations.
This position also investigates and resolves wage and hour issues and is the liason between DOL and Mascot during formal government investigations.
The HR Generalist will also process requests for reasonable accommodations and works closely with the EEO group to resolve complaints and/or formal charges with government agencies.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for occasional training and HR related field presentations, and will act as support personnel for improved compliance initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
