Xenium, a service HR Consulting firm, is seeking a part-time (approx. 25 hours per week) Human Resource Generalist to work onsite for our client located in the SW Portland area. Xenium is an EEO that promotes a productive and collaborative environment for employees.

DUTIES

This position provides HR services to the client, with support from the Xenium HR Business Partner. Some of the responsibilities include: responding to HR questions from managers and employees (OR employment law, ADAAA, leaves, handbook, job descriptions, FLSA classification, etc.); implementation and administration of new hires, performance management and termination processes; benefits management; personnel file maintenance; and limited payroll administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years HR Generalist experience required.
  • Bachelors Degree in HR or related field, preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.
