Responsibilities: Manages, trains, and revises performance management system to improve organizational performance Updates job descriptions for all positions Works with management team to develop and maintain company succession plan Participates in annual compensation surveys and utilizes data to analyze current pay grades Provides compensation evaluations for new and existing positions as needed Actively involved in the recruiting, testing and interviewing procedures to attract and retain top talent Actively participate in Company-wide training for HR related issues such as respectful workplace training, compensation systems, etc. Maintains relationships with local schools, colleges and university staff to improve workforce development and invest in future recruitment efforts Advises management of legal risks Assists Safety Director and serves on the plant safety committee Skills: Proficient in MS Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word and HRIS systems Sensitivity to highly confidential information is essential Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills Possess professionalism and ability to interact with all levels of management Education: Bachelor ’s Degree in related field Five years ’ experience in Human Resources PHR certification preferred Compensation: $54,000 - $70,000 DOE Columbia Machine offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long term disability, 401(k), incentive compensation, paid holidays, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
