Summary of Position:
Provides support as an intermediate level professional in multiple human resources disciplines including: recruitment and selection, employee communication, benefits administration such as employee health and wellness, and training and development. Partners with co-workers to facilitate the delivery of Human Resources services as appropriate. Serve as contact for employees and answer questions regarding Human Resources policies and procedures.

*Performs recruitment and selection duties for hires and placements, including requisitions, web posting, screening, testing, and extending offers. Develops and maintains relationships with potential candidate sources at community organizations and educational institutions.
*Plan and create strategies, tactics, activities, and materials for the purpose of conveying messages to employees. Provide content to the organization's intranet to increase the effectiveness and impact for employees. Research, write, and edit internal communication documents or emails.
*Coordinates company wide employee wellness programs. Serves as the day to day employee contact for wellness activities and facilitates meetings of the employee wellness planning committee.
*Supports training and development efforts promoting the use of computer-based learning technologies; monitoring the effectiveness of course offerings; and administering company tuition reimbursement program. Conducts needs assessments and analysis of changing workplace requirements. Provides career counseling, especially for non-exempt staff and lower-level professional staff.
*Assists internal and external customers by responding to inquiries. Answers general HR questions by completing inquiries on first contact (for example, benefit questions, employee relations, training, vendors, forms requests, employment verifications) or by determining employee needs and referring to appropriate staff member.

Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience performing directly related human resources functions in a medium to large organization or any combination of education and human resources generalist experience providing the types and levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the job.
Certification, Licenses, Registrations Required:
None required. Some work towards certification with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), WorldatWork, or other human resource body is preferred.
