Responsible for assisting the Director, Human Resources and Sr. Vice President, Human Resources with day-to-day operations of the Regional Human Resources Department.
  • Recruiting to include job postings and interviewing. Coordinate license verification, testing, offer and thank you letters.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations.
  • Payroll duties to include system set-up of new employees, transfers, changes and terminations.
  • Benefits administration to include orientation, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process terminations including completion of checklist, termination of benefits, COBRA notification, Life Insurance Conversion and 401k Distribution notifications.
  • Provide guidance to employees requesting information about FMLA and ensure necessary forms are completed and on file.
  • Respond to employment verification enquiries.
  • Interpret company policies and procedures for employees who request assistance.
  • Participate/chair a safety committee, organize regular fire drills and ensure that the offices are in compliance with all local fire codes.
  • Consult with managers on employee relations/performance issues on an as needed basis.
  • Filing and other administrative duties as assigned.
