Chobani is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our New York City office. Reporting to the Director Human Resources, the HR Generalist will provide human resources support to the following client groups: Marketing, Creative, Communications, Strategy, Innovation, Philanthropy and the Chobani Café.
  • Support internal client groups with talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, internal communications, training & development, on boarding, terminations, HRIS, etc.
  • Work with Chobani recruiters to coordinate and support hiring initiatives within client groups. Understand current staffing needs and priorities, as well as future anticipated needs and interview / provide input on hiring decisions
  • Identify client needs, analyzes trends and partners with both clients and other functional areas as needed to develop and deploy sound business solutions
  • Foster a results oriented culture through effective coaching and implementation of performance management process and tools
  • Drive functional area talent agenda by ensuring thorough and thoughtful assessment, individual development and succession planning
  • Together with Talent Acquisition and Compensation Director, provide input to compensation structure, decisions and incentives based on sound understanding of roles / career path in functional areas
  • Manage and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure business needs are met
  • Manage and bring resolution to complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and effective investigations as necessary
  • Partner with HR colleagues to ensure consistency in program and process frameworks, system implementations, and company policies and procedures
  • Facilitate employee training
  • Ensure HR practices are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Drive HR best practices across the business
  • Influence culture that focuses on building a cohesive and consistent performance

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-10 years of experience providing generalist activities in a high-growth, fast-paced corporation
  • Ability to drive results, provide solutions and prioritize multiple projects independently
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry required
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Must possess resourcefulness, flexibility and strong work ethic
  • Strong business acumen as well as superior analytical and writing skills
