Human Resources liaison between Delgado Community College and LCTCS Systems office. Provides support to the AVC of HR in various areas such as employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training and development and other duties the AVC HR assigns. Responsible for coordination of the day-to-day operations of HR functions including, but not limited to, classifieds, unclassified and faculty personnel. Interprets departmental policies and procedures to all faculty and staff. Maintains contact for the AVC with all departments of the college, private and/or professionals as well as faculty and staff. Collaborates with Executive Deans, Vice Chancellors and Department Heads to ensure continuity, communication and equity in processes and outcomes between the organizations.
Minimum Qualifications/ Work Experience:
? Bachelor Degree required and /or 10 years of HR experience equivalent and 5 years HR generalist experience.
? Proficiency required in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Visio Org preferred, but not required.
