Digital Insurance, the nation's largest benefits only first in the country, is looking for an HR Generalist to help manage the day-to-day administration of HR programs and policies for our agency operations across the country.

Required Skills
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for our agency operations (DBA) personnel;
  • Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual;
  • Understands nuances of state and local laws for all markets we are in;
  • Responsible for setting up all state SUI and DOR accounts when needed;
  • Participates in developing department goals and objectives;
  • Helps administers job descriptions and ensure proper FLSA classification and salary grade;
  • Performs benefits administration;
  • Assists with recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and temporary employees for all DBA offices;
  • Assists SVP of HR with new-office onboarding;
  • Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing;
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory;
  • Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from database;
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and necessary posters for each office;
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Experience
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration;
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of Human Resources experience, or 5 years of experience in the HR field required;
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred;
  • Prior benefits administration experience a plus;
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined;
  • Service first approach;
  • Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
