The HR team at Dow Jones is a dynamic group, seeking the best talent in one of the world's most exciting industries. We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our fast-paced, high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be creative and motivated - a true go-getter.

Provide interpretation of HR policies, practices and procedures to employees and managers
Help to drive change within the organization, to include adoption of new technologies, workflows, staffing models, and organization structures
Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for HR process improvements Leverage data and analytics to build strategy and measure success and continuous improvement
Manage the Dow Jones on-boarding program to ensure new hires and hiring managers build a first year employee experience that is successful
Work closely with Labor Relations on collective bargaining issues, resolving grievances, and furthering Dow Jones relationships with its union Work with managers to build a career path for employees, identifying opportunities for training, new skill acquisition, and advancement

Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and HR experience required
Previous Employee Relations/Labor Relations experience
Experience with compensation analysis and in recommending compensation strategies to senior management a plus Integrity, professionalism and ability to manage confidential data
Ability to build trusting, productive relationships with others Effective oral & written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and a diverse client base - well developed planning and organizing capability
