DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

DUTIES

Manage recruiting and staffing logistics.Support and actively participate in organization development.Manage compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting. Assist and participate in employee orientation, development, and training.Assist with employee relations.Participate in company-wide committee facilitation.Help with company employee communication.Administer compensation and benefits.Support and assist with safety, welfare, wellness and health programs.Manage HRIS functions to include onboarding, off boarding, reporting, maintenance and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency is Microsoft Excel and Word.Basic writing, reading and arithmetic skills.Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.Ability to research, evaluate and analyze new recruitment techniques, methods and procedures.Education and or ExperienceBachelor's degree with specialization in Human Resources or Business preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience Manage recruiting and staffing logistics.Support and actively participate in organization development.Manage compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting.
