We are in need of a talented HR Generalist to join our hands-on team as we roll up our sleeves and charge ahead into another record-breaking year.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources the HR Generalist will be the employee contact and administrative liaison for day-to-day employee requests. The position will be responsible for new hire onboarding and explaining/answering benefit questions. The ideal candidate must be a methodical, organized individual with strong attention to detail and be able to multi task with ease and a smile. Above all, the position requires a passion for all things “human resources,” and understands the importance of confidentiality.

Be the seamless guide and coordinate the onboarding process
Manage all benefits inquiries and coordinate efforts with our outside brokers and carriers
Point of contact for employee requests and inquiries, and escalate to HR Manager when applicable
Enter all personnel data (including new hire, changes, terminations) into payroll system
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Assist with implementation of HR processes and policies
Assist in creation of job descriptions, draft job postings for available positions and post in appropriate media
Assist HR Manager in employee development, employee engagement, and employee relations.
Ability to run own desk and support the organization of the HR team in order to ensure follow-through for all projects assigned
2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a start-up
Excellent MS Office skills
Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources preferred
Proactive team player and have a strong background in customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Fanatical attention to detail, demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and sense of
Ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of staff and
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology field preferred
Ability to work extended hours as position dictates
