Honda of America Mfg., Inc.
Ongoing collection and assessment of data points (i.e., associate sentiment, etc.) leading to impact analysis and application countermeasures. Support customer business decision analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures. Refinement and development of Honda of America Mfg,, Inc. (HAM) policies and procedures. Strategic business partner with departments regarding business plan themes or initiatives that might have an associate impact. Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations and case reviews. Manage investigation by ensuring adequate documentation, engaging in corrective action, including review panels and provide post-employment follow through (i.e., unemployment). Improve and support development of future leaders within Honda. Support HAM legal team with depositions or court matters as needed.

Daily Tasks:
Build relationships with leaders and associates “at the spot”. Consult, mentor and support the development of leadership to improve business characteristics. Conduct investigations and provide feedback as needed. Gather and assess associate sentiment. Manage investigation database. Support customer key events by being present. Project support. Seek ways to improve the business. Build technical expertise in HR/Labor Relations. Communicate company level initiatives.

Minimum of three months HR or business related experience. Project leadership experience desired. Training/classroom instruction experience desired.

Knowledge and demonstration of the Honda Philosophy, Challenging Spirit and Respect for the Individual. Knowledge of HR laws and practices in the industry desired.
