Position Summary: This position provides assistance with various HR functions which include: training and development, recruiting, compensation, benefits and organizational development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as may be assigned.
Education, Experience and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree(BA/BS) or equivalent from four-year college is preferred; and minimum five years related experience and/or training in an HR Generalist/training and development environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with SuccessFactors and Ceridian systems is strongly preferred.
Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses to meet specific business needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
Designing and executing HR training programs, including classroom and online courses
Developing and updating course content and coordinating learning curriculum for Kawasaki University offering.
Conducting needs assessments to determine appropriate training curriculum and methods of delivery
Sourcing, evaluating, and managing vendor/consultant relationships
Developing methods for evaluating program effectiveness
Creating training materials as needed
Overseeing the tracking of training records for employees through performance management systems
Overseeing the tracking of newly hired and newly promoted managers to ensure necessary training is delivered in a timely fashion
Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS).
Assist and follow up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Maintain all company personnel files and documentation.
Assist with compensation related projects as needed.
Assist with benefit related projects as needed.
Assist with all recruitment activities for all exempt and non-exempt positions. Assist with the coordination of staffing agencies.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Assist with facilitating the onboarding process.
