Postion: Human Resources GeneralistJob Purpose: The Human Resources Generalist uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve problems in creative and effective ways. They will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following Human Resources functions: employee relations, benefits, workers' compensation, and training. This person will function as a hands-on Human Resources Generalist and report to the Manager of Human Resources. Job DutiesAdministers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnelEmployment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting Performance management and improvement systems Employee orientationFMLA administrationWorkers' compensation administrationUnemployment compensation claims managementProvides guidance to employees on Human Resources matters Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior or Human Resources is required Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Manager or Generalist level is required Workers' compensation claims handling experience Familiar with governmental compliance regulations/laws Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills Have the ability to effectively interact with employees from senior management to the front-lines
