-Handle questions from the employer and employees regarding their benefits and HR issues.
-Create and update their communication tools such as a Web portal and printed brochure.
-Prepare the data to obtain quotes by gathering information from the carrier, employer, and payroll dept.
-Conduct, manage, and negotiate the renewal process with each carrier.
-Prepare spreadsheets, and a proposal book of all the quotes to review with the client.
-Join the broker to meet with the client to review the renewal and alternate options.
-Prepare paperwork to make contract/carrier changes.
-Update all changes to the communication tools.
-Review contracts to assure they are written as applied.
-Post new contracts to our database as well as the clients web portal.
-Create PowerPoint presentation to communicate changes to the clients employees.
-Join broker and either conduct or assist with the PowerPoint presentation.
-Design/redesign an all-in-one application for enrollment and changes.
-Enter or work with assistant to assure all changes are entered in each carriers web portal.
-Assist brokers with conducting educational seminars on many topics for clients and prospects.
-Obtain HR certification to conduct HR Audits on with clients.
-Coordinate HR services with staff and third party vendor.
- Bachelor's Degree or excellent past experience
-Professional Designation PHR/SPHR or the ability to obtain within the first year.
-Working knowledge of employee benefits.
-Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectively.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
-Must be a team player/flexible and able to work in fast paced/changing environment.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher
