• Acts as project lead for the implementation of the HRIS system and all associated modules, including online open enrollment, HR data, and staffing/applicant tracking
• Oversees and maintains integrity of all data entered into HRIS including personnel data, benefits information and on-line enrollment, training, and various courses taken by employees
• Audits all employee information on a regular basis
• Provides regular and special reports to the VP, HR and other managers related to such areas as hires, terminations, training statistics, benefits, and Company population related to new hires and terminations
• Provides updated spreadsheets related to the incentive and salary compensation processes to all managers
• Keeps abreast of all technical changes available for the HRIS; implements applicable changes and communicates to the field
• Provides technical guidance and direction on HRIS to all field locations, and as necessary travels to the field to provide training
• Monitors organizational and operational changes and assists in identifying future activities that will require changes to HRIS
• Works closely with the payroll department to ensure communications and changes to employee data are received on a timely basis
• Keeps abreast of employment laws and classifications and creates/updates policies as required

Job Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, HR or related area preferred
• A minimum of 5 to7 years general business experience with a minimum of 3 years human resources and data base management experience
• Strong HR data base software experience, i.e. Oracle, PeopleSoft
• Strong HRIS technical skills with the ability to write reports that are accurate, complete and prepared on schedule
• Ability to maintain integrity of all data and to conduct effective and timely audits
• Ability to act as HRIS subject matter expert and to train field representatives
• Broad HR knowledge; ability to support HR department in a variety of functional areas
• Ability to quickly grasp facts, processes, procedures in a changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and thrives in an environment where numerous tasks and projects are occurring simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines within short time frames
• Strong analytical skills and detail-orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact and with all levels of the company including senior management, field locations, and general labor
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to perform with a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity and credibility
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
