Performs Human Resources responsibilities at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, affirmative action compliance, and recruitment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work closely with corporate departments (payroll, benefits and HRIS) to ensure requests are completed in a timely basis.
Knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
Actively partner with business leaders to establish, implement and monitor short term and long term goals.
Manage recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and recommending candidates for hire.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Communicate, implement, and interpret HR policies and practices to ensure fair and consistent administration.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations' issues.
Administer benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
Translates documentation as necessary.
Works closely w/ Finance dept. on labor reports.
Issues and maintains employee statistics for government reporting.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Coordinate employee events.
Other projects assigned as necessary.

Requirements: Must be fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing). SHRM Certification Preferred.

Experience/Education: Five to seven to years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to multi-task. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
