Acts as departmental liaison, responding to all employee inquiries on time off/attendance and leave absences. Works closely with HR Managers and Payroll Manager on updating and maintenance of payroll records. Works closely with HRIS Analyst and HR Management in performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Adheres to all SafeAuto policies and procedures, as outlined in the Associate’s Handbook.
Reviews and approves time off and attendance for all employees. This includes researching any timesheet discrepancies.
Reviews and updates vacation and personal time in payroll system for all employees.
Enters all payroll adjustments (financial changes), including back pay and status changes into payroll system for Call Center and Corporate offices in preparation for each payroll cycle.
Works with HRIS Analyst in updating and maintaining in-house training programs to end-users. Develop and maintain up-to-date end user training manuals and materials. Along with HRIS Analyst, train Human Resource Department and organization staff on system access and utilization.
Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements. Run and maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Performs a secondary approval for all employee initiated changes submitted through Ultipro.
Issues and tracks FMLA paperwork and logs FMLA time into spreadsheet. Keeps current of all changes to FMLA program.
Provides back-up assistance to HR management in the areas of unemployment processing, recruitment and compensation.

Education and/or Experience
Associate or Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years of related experience and/or training. PHR certification preferred.
Ultipro Software experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as payroll and tax forms, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of human resources information systems, payroll software, self-service intranet software, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and Internet software.
Regular, full-time attendance, within company parameters, required.
