Job Description The HR Generalist will play an integral role in helping Signpost scale into its next stage of growth.

Candidates must be passionate about making Signpost a best place to work and must be motivated by

the incredible opportunity to build out a strong HR function. This is a high-visibility role that reports

directly to the COO and will provide good exposure to the executive team. Responsibilities will include:
• Onboarding new employees and ensuring their first experiences are overwhelmingly positive
• Maintaining compensation tiers and updating them periodically with market data
• Administering our benefits (e.g., health insurance) and managing our benefits providers
• Maintaining and updating personnel policies and procedures, including our employee handbook
• Maintaining company organization charts and employee directory
• Managing our performance management process and collaborating with the executive team to
tweak the evaluation process as the company’s needs change
• Collaborating with management to create a solid professional development for new managers
• Collaborating with management to implement cultural initiatives that reflect Signpost’s core
values and create strong camaraderie among our employees
Qualifications
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working in an HR function
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is preferable
• Strong planning and scheduling management skills and high attention to detail
• Knowledge of human resource information systems, such as TriNet, ADP, Paychex or similar
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Sensible use of discretion when dealing with sensitive employee topics
