Responsible for positive and professional employee relations and administration of HR programs to support strategic business objectives. This position will be responsible for creating, implementing, and coordinating policies, procedures, and programs in support of corporate and local HR programs and initiatives.
The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Limerick, PA.
•Provide support in all areas of local recruiting including job postings, advertisements, screening of candidates including phone or on-site interviews, reference/background checks etc.
Manage job offers, new hire paperwork, onboarding, and orientation programs. Will lead or present material during orientations. Manage badge/security access.
•Maintain applicant tracking systems, requisitions, open positions, and candidate review and disposition to ensure compliance with EEO and AAP policies.
•Maintain and create job descriptions, update and evaluate as needed.
•Provide turnover and headcount reporting, analysis and performance metrics as required.
•Manage FMLA documentation process, return to work authorizations, coordinate with payroll and STD/LTD providers, employee and supervisor return to work notifications.
•Maintain employee files and records in compliance with federal and state laws. Work directly with HR Direct to ensure HRIS employee data is current and to facilitate use of HRD for general questions.
•May generate and route personnel actions. Track and followup on performance evaluations, mid-year PMPs etc.
•Oversees special events/programs, meetings etc. including event planning, scheduling, and communications. Assist with scheduling, creation and presentation of training programs.
•Oversee rewards and recognition programs including creation of programs, leading engagement teams, etc.
•Employee communications including newsletters, bulletin board notices, labor postings, etc. Create memorandums to communicate policy changes, informational updates, organization changes.
•Manage perfect attendance programs and other corporate-driven HR initiatives such as service awards, impact awards etc.
•Assist management in the interpretation of policies and procedures. Counsel supervisors to ensure consistent policy administration.
•Assist in employee investigations and documentation as needed.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
•Additional duties such as ordering supplies, filing, 5S/organization as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred and 1-3 years relevant experience. PHR certification preferred.
• HR generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and practical application to the workplace including FMLA, ADA, EEO etc
