Human resources generalist

Trion Worlds is seeking an HR Generalist to support our internal organization based in our Corporate Headquarters , Redwood City, CA.

  • Assist with general HR administration (filing, benefits administration, new hire orientation, personnel status changes, maintaining employee files, process requests for employment verification and inquires)
  • Assist recruitment with candidate interviews/scheduling coordination
  • Handle employee relations across all client groups
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, term inations and life event changes
  • Ensures accurate record keeping, documentation, an d associated payroll deductions
  • Serves as liaison with insurance carriers and assists with employee clai m and coverage issues as needed
  • Completes repo rts for management as requested
  • Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs. Tracks and posts OSHA-required dat a and files associated reports
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and gov ernmental laws and regulations
  • Ser v e as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws
  • 3-5 years experience as an HR Generalist
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and time management
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A ble to manage multiple priorities and workflow
  • Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to change directions quickly and to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university
