Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
Department: Human Resource
Reports: Director, Human Resource
Experience: Experience in Employee Relations / Benefits / Compliance
Education: College degree and/or combination of equivalent education and experience.
Type : Contract to hire
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay: $15/hr - $20/hr DOE

Trivium is a consulting firm that provides Accounting, Finance, HR, Tax, and Legal services to early-stage companies. We are fortunate enough to work with some of the smartest people in the world to help their companies reach full potential. We are looking to hire someone in our HR practice with a great attitude and experience working with various types of companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations
  • Managing Insurances - Health / Dental / Vision / Life / AD&D / STD / LTD
  • Compliance (I-9 / EEO / E-Verify / Background check / etc)
  • Maintain Immigration records
  • Administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records
  • Ensures that programs are carried out in accordance with company's policies and procedures.
  • Handle complete employee paperwork, filing, scanning, mailing, fax, data entry, etc.
  • Administer personnel leave in accordance with internal and FMLA requirements.
  • Oversee the recruitment/hiring process (job ads, interviews, background screenings, and orientations)
  • Prepare & maintain employee files
  • Responsible for addressing EDD notices

Requirements:

  • Immigration knowledge a plus
  • Ability to analyze information and to define and solve problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain and organize records and documentation
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast -pace environment
  • Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines
  • High level of process orientation and an attitude oriented towards people & processes
  • Executing deadline driven projects given from time-time
  • Attention to detail. Able to keep track of numerous detail-intensive tasks and ensure their completion and accuracy
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible and a team player with the ability to work independently as well as with others
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision and perform effectively under tight time deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain and organize records and documentation
  • Knowledge of office practices and equipment including Microsoft Office Suite
