Manages complete employment processes and ensures the quality of the workforce continually remains at a high level. Includes the sourcing, interviewing, coordination with hiring manager and selection of non-exempt and exempt positions. Provides regular reporting regarding employment statistics, analyzes data and makes recommendations to improve selection process.
Manages all aspects of benefits administration to include new hire orientation, open enrollment, wellness programs and retirement plans. Assists employees with specific questions, provides training sessions, and answers day to day benefit related questions.
Leads Safety Committee and Office Ergonomics committee. Coordinates training and direction in conjunction with the EHS Manager. Will help conduct assessments, audits, and incident investigations as well as track all corrective action and follow up related to assessments / investigations. Evaluates results of assessments and implements programs to facilitate a safety culture and lower WC costs.
Processes Leave of Absence requests according to Federal and State law as well as Company policy. Provides counsel to employees and supervisors regarding the request and approval process.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. PHR certification preferred by not required.
2 + years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
