HCA West Florida Division is looking for an HR Generalist for our Division Office.

Job Responsibilities:
Plans, implements and oversees special projects to ensure the effective delivery of division-wide HR services.

Assists in developing and analyzing costing data regarding Collective Bargaining agreements, salary budgets, and general compensation policy.

Assists in the design and preparation of training/instructional materials, presentations and teaching aids. Coordinates training and orientation schedules. Assists in ensuring quality educational programs through program evaluation, analysis and assessment.

Researches and analyzes Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness trends. Recommends and assists in the development of new programs and services.

Researches and analyzes current programs, policies, and processes and recommends revisions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assists in the development and implementation of changes to effect continual improvement of services provided.

Develops verbal and written communications/presentations to support HR organizational objectives.

Assists in the development and implementation of selection, training and development, performance management and succession planning programs. Assists in the development of job descriptions/performance management plans and competency models.

Measures the value of HR activities, contributions and results. Analyzes trends in HR metrics. Demonstrates accountability for measuring and achieving performance improvement.

Continuously evaluates work process and design; understands role in ensuring quality/performance improvement, productivity, and service delivery to meet stake holder needs.

Performs duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and recognized professional, quality, environmental and infection control standards.


Bachelor's degree with major coursework in HR management, business administration or related field.

Minimum of three years experience in healthcare HR area.

SPHR strongly preferred.

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office word and excel, strong presentation skills
