The HR Generalist delivers HR services to their respective client groups and works closely with Managers to develop and communicate organizational goals and clarify performance expectations. This includes coordinating and facilitating related initiatives and programs and consulting with Managers on a day-to-day basis to ensure performance management best practices are consistently applied. Generally supports entry and mid-level employees and establishes relationships with members of the client management teams, to effectively drive organizational initiatives. This position serves as a critical part of the HR team supporting the client in their day to day business operations from a people perspective.
This HR Generalist will deliver HR services to the assigned client groups and generally supports entry and mid-level employees. This role will also establish relationships with select members of the client management teams, in order to effectively drive organizational initiatives. This position is responsible for implementing human resources policies, programs and practices, which may include staffing, compensation, training, and performance management. This HR Generalist will partner with HRBP’s to drive end-of-year performance planning administrative and coordination processes. Will be responsible for communicating and informing employees of HR initiatives, project managing efforts, and ensuring programs are aligned with culture of the business unit. Responsible for partnering with other members of the HR team to manage critical program processes, i.e. on-boarding, lunch-n-learns and front-line ER matters.
Under the general guidance of the HRBP, the HR Generalist provides coaching and counseling to management on leadership and employee development issues. This may include initial intake of employee relations matters; counseling employees on internal and external training alternatives for their professional development and growth; partnering with talent management on providing solutions to meet client training needs, provide metrics and analysis on learning trends; and partnering with the HRBP to brainstorm ideas for small group facilitation, focus groups, resources and tools. This role will also partner with HR Services to assist in identifying technology solutions or process improvements.
Minimum 5 years’ experience within HR or related field to include exposure to employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruiting, training, policy input/development; Bachelor’s Degree required (degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources a plus); Business experience outside of HR and/or experience in Advertising/Media industries a plus; PHR Certification a plus; Prior experience working with and influencing clients in an emerging technologies environment a plus.
