Zoosk is looking for a passionate HR Generalist who is excited about driving a unique and fun culture. The ideal candidate is smart, creative, solution-oriented, and resourceful. This position reports directly to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities:
Cultivate a positive work environment and ensure that Zoosk is the best place to work in the Bay Area!

Provide key human resource generalist support and contributes to HR projects and key initiatives including Benefits Management and Compensation Analysis.

Assist HR Manager in employee development, employee engagement, and employee relations.

Act as a trusted resource to managers and employees on a wide variety of human resource topics and guide employees to people, tools, and resources.

Coach and counsel managers and employees on employee relations issues, professional development/training, and general team initiatives.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now including HRB, Time and Attendance and Payroll.

Well versed in employment laws and practices.

Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in record keeping.

Exceptional oral and written communication.

Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

Unquestioning integrity and practice of confidentially.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must be self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Team player with the ability to work independently.

Ability to foster positive and professional relationships at all levels.

Enthusiasm and a welcoming and positive attitude.

Education and Experience:
3-5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions in the tech industry.

Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations preferred.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, but not required.
