The CBE Group's Human Resources (HR) Department in Cedar Falls will have an opening for a temporary, part-time HR Intern starting in May. Qualified candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and possess the following skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates must possess a welcoming attitude with our employees, have utmost adherence to our Core Values and have excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations and previous office experience is a plus. Candidate must be in the process of earning a degree in Human Resources or related field with an expected graduation date of May 2014 or later. Preferred candidates will be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Duties include (but are not limited to): scanning, filing, reference checks, making copies of benefit information and new hire orientation paperwork, and working with the various timekeeping and security softwares.
