Performs professional, technical, and managerial work with primary responsibility for the City's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Develops and implements strategies to address business needs and support HR functions. Position addresses information systems needs and manages technology initiatives in Human Resources. Serves as project manager within the Human Resources Division with regard to sourcing, selection, and implementation of HRIS and related technology solutions, services, procedures, and training. Responsible for the operation, and maintenance of automated IS systems and databases including HRIS, applicant tracking, and imaging. Manages the Division's Employee Records Section.

Bachelor degree in computer science, human resources, business or public administration, or related field, and five years of recent professional HRIS project management and implementation experience at least three years of which must have been as an HR practitioner with exposure to major human resources functions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Management or supervisory experience required. Proficiency with business process mapping and improvement. Experience with Workday® Human Capital Management or similar systems desired.
