Heinz North America is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to partner with the Finance/IT and QA/R&D organizations. This individual will excel at being able to proactively identifying human resources needs within the organization, providing advice and counsel, facilitating the interface with Human Resources centralized services (i.e. compensation, benefits, training and development, communication and office services), reacting with timely solutions, and helping to identify and anticipate needed organizational and employee-related changes or improvements. This position assists in the division in developing and implementing value-added strategic and operational plans that rely upon its human resources assets. ' Successfully influence at all levels within the organization while being particularly effective at coaching mid-level leaders.
' Provide leadership and execution of organizational development, people development, change leadership, employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning and performance management for the Finance/IT and QA/R&D organizations.
' Reduce employee complaints and legal issues by ensuring that laws, policies and procedures are administered consistently and equitably (through employee counseling and education regarding legal and policy requirements).
' Provide proactive HR services to anticipate and facilitate goals and needs of organization.
' Support centralized HR services by assisting in the administration of Affirmative Action, EEO, benefits, compensation, and employee relations progress and practice.
' Increase excellence of work force by ensuring the best candidates are recruited and hired through efficient management of the hiring process.
' Develop employees by promoting and ensuring execution of training and development plans for all personnel within these functions.
' Maintain or improve the image of the employees serviced or the products represented through coordination of communications with the Manager of Communications.
' Impact the performance management process by providing fair and impartial advice and assistance to ensure that good performers are rewarded and poor performers are handled appropriately.
' Assist in the development of long-range human resources strategic design that will impact on functional goals.
The following skills and experience are required to be considered for this position:
' A bachelor's degree in HR or a business-related field. Master's degree in HR, OD or MBA strongly preferred.
' 5+ years professional experience including +2 years of demonstrated experience managing multiple functions and complex and innovative HR solutions and partnering across all levels of the organization.
' Experience supporting a geographically dispersed team is preferred, but not required.
' Proven knowledge and exposure across the suite of Generalist responsibilities including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, succession management, workforce planning, organization development and learning.
' Exposure to CPG industry or manufacturing preferred, but not required.
' Business focus and self-sufficiency to deliver across complex projects with strong analytical and presentation skills evidenced by the ability to create and utilize standards across key generalist initiatives and influence business strategies accordingly.
' Proven leadership partnerships with the skills and abilities to coach and advocate for change across an organization.
' Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence needed to interact with all levels of the organization including up to the Board of Director's.
