We are partnering with a Research and Development Company in Oceanside seeking a talented HR Manager!
The position at a glance:
Supervises and performs a variety of day-to-day activities of the HR department. Manages an admin, payroll admin, and safety professional.
Assists management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities.
Responsible for managing and performing HR functions including benefits administration, payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting, on boarding, terminations, training, compensation, 401k routine administration (not plan administration), performance management, unemployment hearings.
Oversees safety, environmental, and workers comp.
This is a “hands-on” as well as management position.
Requires a BA in HR (or related) plus minimum 5-7 years progressive HR generalist experience, at least 2-3 years at management level.
Some experience with self-insured health plans a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills, patience, efficient, collaborative, and a strong ability to work with other cultures.
