The HR Business Lead is responsible for providing daily HR leadership and guidance to Management and Employees within the USSC operating unit. This leadership position provides HR direction to a 700+ employee base located worldwide. The HR Manager will recommend, develop and execute division specific approaches and solutions to meet the OU's objectives and goals. S/he will partner with Sr. Leadership to predict and shape new business activities and initiatives. The HRBL is responsible for formulating and implementing human resources policy and best practices by driving change, developing and managing world-class processes and serving as a business advocate. Additional responsibilities include promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment, communications & training, total compensation, promoting growth and development of HR Team, support business imperatives, meeting operating factors both financial and non financial objectives, thought leadership, business development activities, effective business operations and leadership on strategies, and action planning to increase engagement.
The HR Manager must have a BS/BA degree plus 10+ years of upward progressive management experience; qualified candidates must have a strategic orientation with demonstrated effectiveness at working with senior leaders to design and execute strategies necessary to achieve business outcomes.
Must demonstrate ability to perform statistical analysis; develop value added metrics and deliver related advice and counsel to leadership.
Experience influencing and motivating teams and demonstrate a collaborative consulting relationship with leaders to provide guideance on a variety of initiatives.
Must have a proven ability to lead complex organizations through change and deliver HR to a large diverse client base.
Must have full working knowledge of procedures, practices and understanding of federal employment acts; SCA experience required.
Must possess excellent consulting and communication skills.
Prior experience in a matrix environment is desired.
Excellent facilitation, analytical skills and strong project management capabilities is a must. Previous experience with MS Suite at an intermediate level or higher.
Travel to field locations is required (25%).
Desired degree in HRM/OD or Business Administration.
Secret Clearance desired.
