The right candidate will take on this assignment with gusto! Working in the Human Resources Department at REACH in Santa Rosa you will be accountable for the execution of optimal human resources service delivery to all our managers and employees while supporting our vision and mission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and administers company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices to support and develop a culture of excellence. Maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
Provides direction and guidance during changes in organizational processes, operations, and culture that balance the needs of the organization, its employees, and other stakeholders while retaining focus on effectiveness.
Mentors managers, employees and other HR staff as needed regarding policies and legal requirements and employee relations issues.
Conducts employee relations investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations.
Coordinates employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, management coaching, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation and on-boarding, and employee recognition programs.
Develops and administers company-wide performance management systems and practices to support operational performance and employee development goals.
Trains managers on human resources practices, HRIS systems and processes.
Manages employee performance management, corrective action and termination.
Provides monthly metrics and makes recommendations on a variety of human resource activities including turnover, employee relations, performance management trends and quality of hire.
Oversees HR compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Competitive salary and benefits

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent, 5-7 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. B.A. or M.A. in organizational development preferred.
Solid competence in all HR functions, with emphasis on employee relations, organizational development, management coaching and development, training and development, organizational culture-building.
Excellent working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including one-on-one coaching and training delivery.
Demonstrated success in mentoring, developing and motivating HR staff.
Strong computer skills including MS projects, Excel, Visio, HRIS systems, report writing including data extraction and manipulation.
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects to successful completion under tight timeline driven initiatives.
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
