  • The HR Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. The corporate recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we hire the best possible talent for the organization through traditional sourcing strategies and developing new creative ideas and maintaining relationships with all levels of management. The HR Recruiter is solely responsible for full life cycle of recruitment process. .
Manages the recruitment function/strategy for the Credit Union; looks for creative ways to build a pipeline of qualified candidates and is often involved in providing compensation expertise to ensure effective salary negotiations upon talent acquisition. Assists in identifying sources to attract qualified and diverse candidates. Ensures that internal member’s recruitments needs are being met in a timely and cost effective manner (i.e., manage to “time to fill” and “cost per hire” as per HR scorecard).

Assist and prepare requisition and/or position description to be sent for market pricing. Evaluate resumes, schedule, and conduct interview. Provides Credit Union Policies, Benefits, and Practices to prospective candidate on interview. Refer and schedule qualified candidate to hiring manager. Extend offer, prepare offer letter, and send out proper notifications. Maintain contact with possible future candidates.
Maintain postings (internal & external), weekly recruitment activity report, status report, disciplinary log, candidate log. Ensure time to fill and requisition binder are updated and accurate. Attend Career Fairs for recruiting and company recognition.

Develops and places employment ads along with coordinating wit employment agencies to bring in and interview qualified temporary staff candidates. Discuss and negotiate bill rate. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and signed. Ensure temporary staff is set up on systems, along with proper notifications.

Provide back-up support for HR Assistant
Administer testing
Run credit reports
Coordinating data processing of background checks
Preparing new hire packages along with scheduling pre-employment drug screen
Conducting new hire orientation
Replacement badges (as needed)
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties

EXPERIENCE - At least 3-5 years experience in Human Resources and recruitment. Financial recruitment a plus. Knowledge of HRIS system, HR Benefits Solution, Pay Expert, EzLabor, WorkForce Now, Microsoft office and proficiency required.

EDUCATION - Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years in the HR corporate recruitment environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS-Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize workflow, remain focused, work independently along with maintaining confidentiality on ALL personnel issues. Able to communicate effectively while maintaining a professional & positive attitude. Knowledge of employment and hiring laws and practices required. Extraordinary service skills
