Provide support to our supervisors/managers by (1) screening and hiring qualified employees that fit well in NPBCs culture, (2) present all candidates with a positive opinion of NPB, its employees, and culture, and (3) making all candidates and employees realize that the job for which they are hired is a critical part of NPBs success.
Ensure all company, division and departmental policies, regulatory and compliance concerns and procedures are effective and implemented.
Responsibilities typically include:
Review applications to evaluate if the candidates meet the position requirements. Conduct prescreening interviews. Maintain applicant data in Applicant Tracking. Coordinate meetings with Hiring Manager to interview select candidates.
Monitor and perform pre-employment processing including reference and background checks and drug screening. Prepare and send offer packages including explanation of corporate benefits.
Support supervisors/managers and employees with HR policies and procedures issues. Present applicable information at regional meetings and provide training as necessary.
Post open positions to appropriate sources. Work with employment vendors, including Indeed and Monster, to maximize results. Attend local professional meetings and job fairs to improve recruiting and company recognition.
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) years HR experience, with one year experience in recruiting.
Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills and reasoning skills.
Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to organize, prioritize, and articulate job tasks and complete the tasks on time.
