The Employee Health Systems Analyst functions as the support and maintenance of Employee Health and financial applications systems. This individual serves as the point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data Integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process Improvement opportunities. The Employee Health Systems Analyst also supports application systems upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Demonstrates actions consistent with Ochsner's "Expectations" as duties are performed on a daily basis.
A. Education, Experience & Training:
Bachelor's degree required In Business or related field. 1-2 years experience in computer systems operations. Prior experience with report writing and creating detailed reports, charts, tables, etc. preferred. Ability to work with end users to define reporting requirements and gather/define functional specifications for reporting requirements. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
B. Other Qualifications:
Strong understanding of HR/Employee Health processes and data In order to ensure correct Implementation. Strong understanding of STIXIEPIC or current EMR database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Analytical skills and logical thought processes In order to formulate solutions to problems. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and
PowerPoint. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects. Experience with an HRMS such as Lawson or Taleo Is a plus.
