Brief Description

Responsible for coordinating and implementing organization-wide training programs and offerings to meet organizational and individual employee development needs. Responsible for coordinating processes and activities of on-site contacts in all corporate and field locations regarding delivery of training.

Detailed Description *
  • Responsible for gathering data on all training activities/spend and working with the Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD;) team to build a structure and process for global training delivery. *

  • Recommends improvements to existing processes and procedures and helps to implement changes as necessary. *

  • Partners with L&OD; team to determine training needs for respective client groups. *

  • Serves as liaison for other training groups within the organization, including safety, global compliance, and technical programs and offerings. *

  • Liaises with employees, internal and external training groups, and management team to facilitate learning activities and coordinate organization-wide and department-specific business and professional training. *

  • Provide tactical and strategic operational support for all training and development related events. *

  • Maintains learning management system (LMS), including course catalog, managing enrollments, and generating training reports. *

  • Assists L&OD; team in sourcing training providers. *

  • Serves as primary liaison for on-site training/office services staff for training classes offered in all locations, including scheduling, meeting space, room set up, catering, training materials, and audiovisual setup. *

  • Serves as primary liaison with training providers regarding scheduling, requirements, and communication. *

  • Coordinates training calendar for business and professional courses; Communicates training or development opportunities to assist employees in meeting their career objectives. *

  • Monitors training related activities to ensure services provided are in compliance with L&OD; objectives and budget; produces reports detailing attendees, expenses, effectiveness and other relevant information. *

  • Maintains Learning Portal content, including current offerings, contact information, training calendar, and other resources as required. *

  • Assists in group facilitation activities, in partnership with L&OD; team. *

  • Assists in delivery of assessment results related to individual or group development, in partnership with L&OD; team. *

  • Assists in administrating the organization's competency management programs, ensuring regular updates for accuracy and relevance. *

  • Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies and tools to constantly improve learning activities and processes. *

  • Provides logistical and some administrative support for L&OD; related activities and events.

Job Requirements *
  • Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources preferred, or High school diploma with three additional years of HR related experience. *

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in one or more of the following areas: training and organizational development, human resources.
